Oxford Aging Project

This is a series of illustrations created for five poetic end-of-life clinical narratives published in The Oxford Handbook of Age and Aging in History. These images visualize conversations with literary Artist in Residence Dr. Marcia Brennan in the palliative care unit, capturing the emotional and human dimensions of aging and end-of-life care. Forthcoming from Oxford University Press in 2026, the work serves as a resource for geriatricians, humanists, and historians, bridging clinical insight with the humanities through visual storytelling.
